SUBMISSION

The Organizing Committee of IWJC-Korea 2027 cordially invites researchers, engineers, and professionals from academia, industry, and research institutes to submit abstracts presenting their latest research and developments in the fields of welding, joining, and related technologies.

All abstracts should be submitted through the Online Abstract Submission System by the submission deadline. Authors are kindly requested to carefully review the submission guidelines before submitting their abstracts.

All deadlines are based on Korea Standard Time (KST, UTC+9).

Abstract Submission Guidelines

All abstracts must be written in English.
Abstracts should be prepared using the official IWJC-Korea 2027 Abstract Template. Abstract Template
The abstract should clearly describe the objectives, methodology, major results, and conclusions of the work.
Authors should select the most appropriate technical topic/category during the submission process.
Authors may indicate their preferred presentation type: Oral Presentation or Poster Presentation.
The final presentation type will be determined by the Program Committee based on the review results and program organization.
Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all information provided, including the title, author names, affiliations, and abstract contents.

Submission Procedure

STEP 01 Sign Up / Log In
Create an account or log in to the IWJC-Korea 2027 website.
STEP 02 Select a Topic
Select the technical topic that best represents your abstract.
STEP 03 Enter Author Information
Provide the names, affiliations, and contact information of all authors and designate the presenting author.
STEP 04 Submit Your Abstract
Enter the required abstract information and upload the abstract file prepared according to the official template.
STEP 05 Confirmation
After successful submission, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the submitting author. Submitted abstracts can also be reviewed through My Page.

Modification of Submitted Abstracts

Authors may review and modify their submitted abstracts through My Page until the abstract submission deadline.

No modifications will be accepted through the online system after the submission deadline.

Notification of Acceptance

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the IWJC-Korea 2027 Program Committee.

Notification of acceptance and the assigned presentation type (Oral or Poster) will be sent to the submitting/presenting author by e-mail.

Detailed presentation guidelines will be provided to authors of accepted abstracts.

Important Notes

Submission of an abstract does not constitute registration for the conference.
The presenting author of an accepted abstract must complete conference registration by the designated deadline.
Accepted abstracts may be included in the IWJC-Korea 2027 Abstract Book and/or conference materials.
If the presenting author does not complete registration by the required deadline, the abstract may be withdrawn from the final program.
The submitting author is responsible for obtaining the consent of all co-authors before submission.
